Hi, I am Carla, I’ve been a photographer for over 10 years, and in that time I’ve combined my love for hiking, travel, and storytelling to create images that truly connect. Photography, for me, is about more than just pictures — it’s about telling the story behind them (my favorite part!).
I’ve worked with entrepreneurs, small businesses, Airbnb owners and multiple types of offices to not only refresh their photos but also to help them share their unique story with their audience.
Whether you’re looking for a complete set of images for your website, regular sessions to keep your visuals updated, or documentation of a special event, I can tailor a package to fit your needs.
From product highlights and workplace details to team headshots and action shots of what you do best — together, we’ll create authentic, storytelling photos that elevate your brand.

From start to finish, I’m here to make your session easy and fun
I’ll help you prepare and can give styling tips, or work alongside your stylist to make sure your look fits your brand and tells your authentic story.
I work with natural light (or ambient light in the evenings), so my gear is simple and flexible.
Big or small space — it doesn’t matter! We can shoot right in your office, out on location, or a mix of both. Together we’ll create a branding session that feels natural, showcases what you do best, and helps your business stand out.
Jess is a published writer who wanted fresh photos for her social media. We chose her favorite local bookstore as the backdrop, which gave the perfect cozy setting. The session focused on her, her books, and creating a relaxed vibe that would really connect with her audience. She envisioned moody, atmospheric photos — and that’s exactly the feel we captured.
You booked your session, what is next?
-Think about who your ideal client is and the vibe you want your brand to give off. Having that in mind helps us capture photos that feel true to you and attract the right people. Jot down a few notes — it doesn’t have to be fancy!
-Write down a few simple things about your business — your values, your brand colors, what you do (and who you do it for), and most importantly, why you do it. Don’t forget the behind-the-scenes stuff too — people love seeing the real day-to-day that makes your brand unique!
-Putting together a mood board is a great way to get clear on the look and feel you’re going for. It also helps me see what kind of poses and style you like. Whether you’re leaning toward formal shots for a corporate feel, something more relaxed, or even action shots of you in your element — a mood board gives us a roadmap. --If this feels overwhelming you can simply email me 5 photos or dm me via instagram any inspirational pics.
-Think about where you’ll be using your new brand photos — are they mostly for your website or social media? Or do you also need images for things like flyers, business cards, or other print materials? Knowing this ahead of time helps us capture exactly what you need.
-If there’s anything special you want to include — like new props, outfits, or even a fun update to your space (one of my clients once painted a wall just for their shoot!) — be sure to plan it with enough time. That way everything’s ready to go on session day.
-Pick outfits that feel good and look good — comfort is key! Choose colors that work with your brand so everything stays consistent. Think about the vibe you want to show (professional, relaxed, creative, etc.), and bring a couple of options so we can mix it up during your session. If you’re buying something new, give yourself time so you’re not rushing.
The Local Collective wanted photos only of their space for their website and social media.
There’s a lot to think about — outfits, colors, props, locations, mood, etc. — but don’t worry, you’re not on your own. We’ll work together to create an amazing brand gallery that shows off your business and tells your story. Most importantly, we’ll make sure you have fun! By the end of the session, you’ll be excited to share your new images everywhere. It’s all designed to help you attract more of your ideal clients and boost your revenue. And honestly, that’s what we all want as small business owners, right?
Cannot wait to meet you!
